The UK newspaper The Guardian has recently reported that “the International Monetary Fund warned that the final bill for the pandemic would total $28tn (£21.5tn) in lost output”. COVID19 has so far cost businesses across the world fortune.
The key to your business bouncing back post-Corona-Virus is to ensure you are ahead of the game. You need strategies and processes to reduce the risk of COVID entering your teams, and have robust systems in place to limit the risk of it spreading through departments in your workspace. In this course, we will help you create those strategies and processes.
Your tutor is Dom O’Neill, Dom is a First Option Certified COVID19 Supervisor. Dom has been trained to assist productions and creative businesses return their staff to the workspace safely. Dom has successfully worked on a number of projects during COVID19 lockdowns and helped companies operate safe workspaces throughout the pandemic. Dom is now using his skills to help small businesses, SME’s, freelancers, and start-ups return to workspaces post COVID19. Dom is also an experienced TV Floor Manager, Live Event Stage Manager and Film/TV on Set First Aider. He is well versed in on-site health and safety and has a vast knowledge of how to keep team members safe while they are at work.
In this course we will cover:

Travel and commuting – how to keep your team safe on the way to work and while traveling during the workday

Your workspace – the physical capacity of the space given, social distancing, and the provision of key hygiene facilities

Work activities – we look at the activities that people are going to need to undertake and how you can help them reduce the COVID risk

Work equipment – we discover how to lower the Corona-Virus risk via small changes to your normal equipment operation process

Work patterns – we will work on processes to enable you to have small groups of people in your workspaces

Department bubbles – we will work through strategies to ensure the risk of COVID19 spreading in your workspace is limited

Masks, gloves, and PPE: – what to use when, why, and how to dispose of the waste created
